A Different Story.

As stated by The Dorset Equine Rescue:

Nash came to the Rescue in June of 2014 after he was seized by animal control due to neglect and severe malnutrition. Since his rescue, he has gained over 200 pounds.  We are still working on putting some more weight on him and building up his strength. He is a 20+ year old Dun Quarter Horse.  He is very laid back and a happy-go-lucky kind of guy.  We have been slowly acclimating him to riding.  He has done some ring work and short trail rides.

I personally don't know Nash that well, but I think he'll make a sweet family member. He's pretty laid-back, but also wary. He won't take hay from your hand if you're standing at the fence, but it all takes time. This photo doesn't show much, but you can tell he's still under-weight, even in the winter. I've seen the before photo and it's shocking; he's come so far.
